Drowing Pool invades Capital Hill

My good friend Ryan McCombs and Drowning Pool was recently in Washington DC to present the petition they helped create in conjunction with the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans Association). They have collected over 20,000 names on the petition. If passed, the bill would help the Veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan war get the proper care they need when they return home. I've attached a link to a short 4 minute video of the guys on Capital Hill. Ryan was chosen to do the speaking during the press conference, so there is also footage of that. It was taped by both CNN and Fox News, but we haven't heard if it will go to air or not. They also got to meet with Barack Obama, one of the Democratic Presidential candidates for 2008, and a huge supporter of this bill!!

Sean McKeever taken on the Birds

Dan Didio let it slip in last weeks DC Nation that Sean McKeever will be taking over Birds of Prey! Sean just signed a DC exclusive a few months ago and was announced to be on the team of writers for Countdown. Fans have been wondering what else DC has in store for their new Eisner Award winning writer!
